This is just a hand drawing to give you an idea of the layout of the house. It is a tradition cottage design, and I have tried to label the rooms to show how they relate to each other. We have two stairwells at the moment , which as I have said elsewhere, we wanted to keep in order to keep both sections of the house separate, but it would be easy to combine and have just one stairway if you so wished, or to knock through door upstairs to allow access the whole way across.

 The region is well known for its excellent selection of schools of all levels in both, the private and public sectors, in particular Millfield School (15 minutes drive away), Wells Cathedral School, and Kings Bruton, Park School, Haselbury  and Sherborne School for boys and girls and there is Sexeys and which although further away is only about a 25 min drive and has Gryphon, an excellent state school, in Sherborne,
